Through your involvement in Rotary’s programs and/or scholarships you have joined an incredible global network of community and business leaders. This network, your Rotary experience and further potential opportunities through Rotary provide a range of resources that can assist you on your further development, career and community service.
Are you a Rotary Alum?
'Rotary Alumni' are those who have been selected for, and taken part and completed (graduated) involvement with the programs of Rotary International, the Rotary Foundation and /or programs run by Rotary Districts including:
- Earlyact, Interact and Rotaract
- Rotary Youth Exchange
- New Generations Service Exchange
- Rotary Youth Program of Enrichment (RYPEN)
- Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA)
- Model United Nations Assembly (MUNA)
- Rotary Peace Fellowships
- Rotary Global Grant Scholarships
- Ambassadorial Scholarships
- Grants for University Teachers
- Group Study Exchange (GSE) (members and leaders)
- Vocational training teams (members and leaders)

How Alumni can continue their Rotary Involvement
There is a large range of opportunities for Rotary Alumni to continue their Rotary involvement, including:
- ability to lead or participate in a vocational training team and share your professional skills
- access to scholarships to develop your skills
- advocates of Rotary’s work
- be kept up to date of Rotary’s work and opportunities via LinkedIn and Facebook
- become a peace fellow to become an effective catalysts for peace
- give back and help create positive lasting change via joining a Rotary Community Corp, a Rotary Action Group, a Rotary Fellowship, a Rotaract Club, a Rotary Club or a Rotary Alumni Association
- making tax deductable donations to the Rotary Foundation which transforms your donation into service projects that change lives
- members of Rotary and/or Rotaract
- opportunity to attend various Rotary events including District Conferences and Rotary International Conventions

Rotary Alumni Reunions and Gatherings
Rotary District 9815 holds an annual Rotary Alumni gathering along with a separate annual gathering of Rotarians within the District who are Alumni. Details of upcoming Rotary Alumni gatherings will be detailed below ahead of the event. Committees of specific Rotary Youth and/or Foundation Programs and/or Scholarship opportunities may organise specific reunions of those experiences.

Register a ‘My Rotary’ account with Rotary International
Rotary Alumni are encouraged to create a ‘My Rotary’ account via the Rotary International website and register their Rotary experience. Please note that Alumni of worldwide Rotary programs can have their Alumni experienced recorded via ‘My Rotary’. The District Committee utilises the Alumni records from Rotary International rather than maintain its own register of Alumni.

Rotary Alumni Pins
A limited number of official Rotary Alumni Pins are available to be purchased for those who were a beneficiary of a Rotary Youth Program or a Rotary Foundation Scholarship or experience and were sponsored or hosted by a Rotary Club in District 9810, 9820 or 9815. Rotary Alumni are encouraged to wear an Alumni pin to assist in recognizing and celebrating them as one of Rotary's beneficiaries. Annual Rotary Reconnect Week (second week of October)
All around the world, Rotarians and alumni reconnect annually during the second week of October for Rotary's Reconnect Week to share their experiences, celebrate the programs/opportunities they were involved in, network and exchange ideas. Rotary Clubs are particularly encouraged to initiate opportunities to connect with Alumni during this week and Alumni are encouraged to re-connect their sponsor and/or host Clubs.
Rotary International Alumni Global Service Award
This award is the highest honour by Rotary for it's alumni and recognises an outstanding Rotary alumnus or alumna each year whose career, activities and service to humanity illustrate the impact of Rotary's programs. The nomination period commences 1 July until 15 September of each year. All Rotary alumni are eligible for consideration.
