🏆 Governor’s Excellence Awards
Honouring outstanding Rotary clubs across District 9815
The Governor’s Excellence Awards recognise Rotary clubs within District 9815 that have demonstrated exceptional performance, innovation, and impact over the past year.
These awards celebrate clubs that lead by example — through strong community engagement, growth in membership, support for The Rotary Foundation, effective public image strategies, and alignment with Rotary’s core values.
Awarded to multiple clubs annually, this honour reflects a commitment to excellence, collaboration, and creating lasting change locally and globally.
 
🥇 Gold Distinction Award (400+ points)
Awarded to clubs that exemplify the highest standards of Rotary excellence, innovation, and impact. These clubs are true leaders within District 9815 — setting benchmarks for service, growth, and community engagement.
 
🥈 Silver Achievement Award (320–400 points)
Presented to clubs that demonstrate consistent excellence and strong performance across Rotary’s core areas. These clubs show a deep commitment to service, membership, and visibility in their communities.
 
🥉 Bronze Merit Award (240–319 points)
Awarded to clubs making significant contributions and showing strong alignment with Rotary values. These clubs are building solid foundations and momentum for long-term success.

  • To be eligible, only the President or Secretary can fill out the excel spreadsheet from your club and send to the District Awards Chair.
  • Each club must have points from each category 1 - 4.
  • Photos required in some categories.
 
Section 1 – Increase our Impact

  1. Your club designs and participates in a new service project as a Club or within your Rotary Community that has been specifically designed to address one or more of the 7 Areas of Focus. Ensure that your project’s impact is measurable, and data driven.

  1. Successfully apply for a Foundation Grant during the year

  1. Support PolioPlus by giving a minimum of $20 per active member. Or your club financially supports Foundation.

  1. Successfully implement external signage erected by your club, at either outside your meeting venue or township which has been approved by the District Communications Chair since July 2025

Section 2 – Enhance Participant Engagement
