PDG Leanne Jaggs
Leanne Jaggs, D9920 DG 2009-2010, was born in Auckland in 1970.
Educated at Hunua Primary School & Epsom Girls Grammar School, where she spent her 7th form year as a Rotary Exchange Student in Sweden.
Leanne came home to attend Auckland University, graduating with a BCom in Marketing.
She has worked in sales within the FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) industry as a sales rep, Key Account manager, Business Development Manager, General Manager, and managing Director of her company, Alliance Marketing 2007 Ltd.
Leanne now works in the family business which is Land Development and Property Investment. Her role is Finance Manager.
Leanne has grown up within a Rotary family, as a 3rd generation Rotarian, following the footsteps of her grandfather George Searle (RC Henderson) & Dad PDG Stuart Searle (RC Pukekohe Inc)
Leanne is a charter member of the RC Manukau City Sunrise Inc., which celebrated 25 years last November. She was a District Governor from 2009 to 2010, with Brayden being born in her District Governor Elect year. After her DG year, she was on the RI Young PDG Committee for four years, being Chair of its last year as a pilot. She is currently on the RI Strategic Planning Committee and convenor for the Zone 8 Conference in Queenstown in November 2024.
Leanne married Mike in April 2007, and they have two children, Brayden (16) and Izzy (13). Both Leanne and Mike enjoy good food and wine, entertaining, and travelling. They love watching rugby, and despite the Auckland weather, Leanne tries to walk every day.
