This month, we're in Bayswater, celebrating the Rotary Club of Bayswater's efforts in planting 100 trees along Dandenong Creek to mark 100 years of Rotary. 🌲✨ August is Membership and New Club Development Month, and we're focusing on growing our district by 1-2 members per club. Our goal is to expand Rotary's impact and create companion clubs that welcome those who may not join traditional clubs.
In just two months, we've already seen success, with 9 of our clubs selected for the Fit for Purpose Project and the formation of a new satellite club in Gippsland! 🌟
We've also made strides in community projects, including sending playgrounds to Cape Town and celebrating local Rotarians' achievements, like Gary Luxford, who was named the 2024 Victorian RESCA Volunteer Award winner. 🏆
Plus, we've launched our District 9815 Conference, themed "We Belong because We are Better Together," with 250 early registrations!
