DESCRIPTION:Dear Friends\, Golfers\, and Supporters of our tenth Rotary Cha
 rity Golf Day\, I would like to thank you all for your support in previous
  years and hope you will join us once more on Monday 31st March 2025 at th
 e iconic Frankston Golf Club for another day of golf\, splendid food and d
 rink\, and frivolity. Throughout the year\, both the Rotary Club of Mount 
 Eliza and the order of Saint John of Jerusalem Knights Hospitaller have be
 en supporting two incredibly important charities – the Code 9 Foundation
 \, and Interplast. The Code 9 Foundation was set up to address the enormou
 s need in our Society to provide assistance to those who\, in their profes
 sional roles\, are first responders to any crisis situation where the trau
 matic nature of their work can often lead to the debilitating illness comm
 only known as P.T.S.D. (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). We provide funds 
 to enable the Foundation to give sufferers of this illness a break from th
 eir immediate environment by way of a few days stay at selected accommodat
 ion where they can relax and enjoy the peacefulness of a quiet time away f
 rom situations which can trigger an episode. Most people are aware of the 
 organisation “Interplast” which by nature of its operation is a wonder
 ful and generous organisation giving many physically afflicted people from
  the Pacific Reason a reason to live again. Teams of surgeons\, nurses\, a
 nd support staff venture out into these Pacific countries and perform surg
 ery on people sometimes terribly deformed and frequently made outcasts fro
 m their Society because of their deformity. These medical specialists give
  freely of their time and expertise in performing many operations and we r
 aise the funds required to acquire and despatch all the medical equipment 
 they need for these operations. All the money we raise will be divided equ
 ally between these two causes\, and I am hoping so much that you will be a
 ble to join us on our golf day. If you are unable to attend\, you may wish
  to make a donation. All donations are tax deductible. Please return the a
 ttached Registration Form and return it to me by e-mail (d_g_rew1@bigpond.
 com). Payment details are provided on the Form. I look forward to seeing y
